The Lake House (Alejandro Agresti – 2006) C+

A bit better than your typical light romance flick. The whole thing could’ve been solved of course with a simple phone call made by our heroin, Kate, to see where her boyfriend from a different time is in the present, but of course that would ruin the whole ‘surprise’ at the end that you see coming from the first 15 minutes. Still, I think they did a good job in keeping us informed of what is happening when without resorting to ‘Present Day’ and ‘Chicago, 2006’ .
