I can totally see why someone who has never seen the series Firefly would think this is a so-so sci fi movie. Without some background and some details, the characters seem flat and the plot is murky. I just recently saw Firefly and could not wait to see the movie. This is a two hour series finale. A damn fun and fantastic one too. Too bad the series met such an unfair demise.
