The Nines (John August – 2007) B+

There is really a lot ot be said to watching a movie wthout knowing a single damn thing about it. Take “The Nines” for example, even after reading the Netflix synopsis I still had no clue what I am about to see. I figured it might be a neat thriller at best, since I do remember hearing it was a good movie (even if Ryan Reynolds is in it). Well, it is neat but it is not a thriller or a simple film. I am still not sure what to make of it per se other than to say that it did not have a single dull moment in it and kept me engrossed the whole way through. In case anyone is reading this and planning on seeing it, I really am going to keep you in the dark about its “plot”.  It might be total crap, but I don’t know, I liked its ideas, script, it’s quirky moments and yes, even Mr. Reynolds’ performance.
