Too bad we never see movies like this much these days. It’s like a play, with limited sets and actors but it so much fun to watch the plot unfold. That plot involves a “perfect” murder scheme. Of course, in typical Hitchcock fashion, the perfect plan has a few small wrinkles thrown in that might derail the whole thing. That’s where we see the tension building that Hitchcock that is known for. This film really has it all, perfect plot, wonderful classy actors and lots of twists and turns.
