11/27/2004 – Maybe it is a chick flick, predictable, very sweet, unrealistic and improbable (The British Premier looking for his Cinderella on X-mas eve. hmmmm…??!!). It is also very well written, filled with well defined characters, impeccably performed, funny and warm. So there, this one is a favorite “romantic comedy” of ours.
11/26/2004 – Good solid acting and the story is filled with characters I cared about.
11/20/2004 – Not the best of the Coens, but still pretty funny at times. B B Thornton’s small role is pitch perfectly performed.
11/12/2004 – Still a whole lot of fun. And the cat is one cool…err..cat.
“I hate Mondays”
11/14/2004 – I liked Albert, but Freddy’s character needed more development. Something more could’ve been done with his relationship with his dad.
11/13/2004 – I really think this one deserves a better grade, I just was busy while watching it and need to see it again.
11/12/2004 – At almost 4 hours long, this film flows without a single boring moment. The story is great so are the cast members, the perfect set pieces, the music and the editing and filming of the past and present in the long tale. I rank this one up there with the Godfather trilogy and Goodfellas.
